Max
Sadly, Max passed away on 8 January, 2010.
We leave his bio in place to honour him for his many years of excellent work in the field of motorcycling.
Max Moffat has been riding for thirty-seven years beginning while posted at Canadian Forces Base Petawawa, Ontario, with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers (RCEME).
Max acquired his Instructor qualification through a Canada Safety Council course in Germany in 1980 and trainined fellow soldiers there until 1982 when he was posted to CFB Penhold, Alberta. There, he was an instructor for the CSC from 1984-1987.
In 1987 Max was posted to CFB Calgary and taught from 1987-1899 finishing his military career in 1990, then in 1992 he moved to Red Deer.
He served again as an Instructor for the Canada Safety Council during 1993-94, then for the Alberta Motor Association until 2005.
Max and his partners formed Alberta Motorcycle Training in 2005 and he is now the Training Co-ordinator and Senior Instructor.
